ItalyMarina Militare

  • The Lerici-class minehunter, Numana (5557) built by Intermarine, has been launched on September 8, 1992 and was delivered on June 11, 1994. It has been the first Italian minehunter to take part in the Mine Countermeasures Forces in the Mediterranean in 1999. In 2000 participated in clearing the Adriatic Sea from the mines dropped during the Kosovo War; it took part in national and international Exrcise, research operations and carried out surveys and experiments. It has covered more than 75,000 miles and called at 37 ports. Since May 5, 2004 was assigned to Mine Countermeasures Force of the South (MCMFORSOUTH).
