 Question Does Manga and Anime have to be part of the scope, or is Bishōjo unambiguous and by itself sufficient? Lycaon (talk) 08:10, 13 November 2008 (UTC)- The direct translation of the japanese term bishōjo references to beautiful young girls in general, but it is mostly used in connection with anime and manga. - You could say that animes are animated mangas. This image is not animated, but it is colored which is not typical for a manga in a comic like form (except for the cover and maybe the first pages). Thats why colored manga are often referred as a drawing in anime style (still frame from an anime). --Niabot (talk) 16:30, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
