English: Ana Roldán's golden sphere is an intervention she made in the realm of the exhibition AAA Art Altstetten Albisrieden in Zurich. The installation that alludes to the artist James Lee Byars was only meant to be there temporarily. But an intervention by people from the neighbourhood led to a permanent installation.
Deutsch: Ana Roldán's goldene Kugel entstand im Rahmen der Ausstellung AAA Art Altstetten Albisrieden mit Kunst im öffentlichen Raum in Zürich. Die Arbeit ist eine Hommage an den Künstler James Lee Byars und war nur vorübergehend gedacht. Eine Gruppe aus der Quartierbevölkerung sowie die Finanzierung der Versicherungsgesellschaft Mobiliar ermöglichten eine permanente Installation. |
