The Photographer's Barnstar is awarded to those individuals who tirelessly improve the Wikipedia with their photographic skills and contributions.

Neutrality^talk came up with the idea for a photographer's barnstar; it was designed by Grunt on November 27, 2004.

This image is also used as the Original Reporting Barnstar on Wikinews, presumably as most original reporting includes photojournalism.
