Description
English: The diagram depicts Galileo's thought experiment on on inertia. He thought that a ball, rolling or sliding down a hill without friction, would run up to the same height on an opposite hill. Using this logic, as the ramp approaches a level surface, the ball will roll forever. Thus no force is needed to keep an object moving with constant velocity.
