Description
English: Second step of a kinetic Monte-Carlo simulation, illustrated in the case of four possible final states. The state you go into is determined by a random var uniformly distributed between 0 and Γtot = Σ Γj. If the random var falls between 0 and Γ1, the system goes into state 1; between Γ1 and Γ12 it goes into state 2, etc.
Français : Deuxième étape d'une simulation Monte-Carlo cinétique, illustrée dans le cas où quatre états finaux sont possibles. L'état dans lequel on va est déterminé par une variable aléatoire uniformément répartie entre 0 et Γtot = Σ Γj. Si la variable aléatoire tombe entre 0 and Γ1, le système va dans l'état 1; entre Γ1 et Γ12 il va dans l'état 2, etc.
