File:Kersten's shadow effect - liftoff motion.gif
Summary
Description |
English: Shows a cube gliding in constant height over a checker board, and then lifting off. Inspired by Daniel Kersten, Pascal Mamassian, David C. Knill (1997). "Moving Cast Shadows Induce Apparent Motion in Depth". Perception 26: 171-192. The cube always follows a straight line, only its shadow changes its direction on lift-off. |
