Флаг города Твери представляет собой прямоугольное желто-красно-желтое полотнище с горизонтальным расположением цветных полос. В центре красной полосы располагается одноцветный контурный рисунок герба города Твери без гербового щита. Обратная сторона флага является зеркальным отображением его лицевой стороны.
