Equipotentials (red contours) were rendered with Mathematica on a Raspberry Pi with the command
ContourPlot[ -1/Sqrt[(x - 2.5)*(x - 2.5) + y*y] - 0.1/Sqrt[(x + 2.5)*(x + 2.5) + y*y], {x, -5, 8}, {y, -7, 7}, PlotRange -> {0, -2}, Contours -> Table[-0.346491 + (3*0.1) - i, {i, 0, 2, 0.1}], ContourShading -> None, PlotPoints -> 200 ]
and then exported as SVG. Field lines were added in Inkscape.
