File:Direct Converter.jpeg

Summary

Description
English: This is by no means a complete illustration of how direct conversion works. This is a basic direct converter, shown here are the four basic steps. First, the plasma is made to move straight using a magnetic field, next the converter is insulated from fields elsewhere inside the machine, next, the electrons are suppressed and finally, the ions are separated by energy using an electric field. I made this and I offer freely to wikipedia, http://thepolywellblog.blogspot.com/.

This technology image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.
It is recommended to name the SVG file “Direct Converter.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
