Summary

Description
English: Just intonation intervals approximated by 43 equal divisions of the octave.

19-EDO (⅓-comma meantone) has pure minor thirds but its major thirds and perfect fifths are both flat by about the same amount.

31-EDO (¼-comma meantone) has pure major thirds but its minor thirds and perfect fifths are both flat by about the same amount.

43-EDO (⅕-comma meantone) has slightly sharp major thirds and slightly flat perfect fifths, off from just intonation by approximately the same amount. Compared to 19 and 31, 43 is more of a compromise tuning as it balances out the offset between major thirds and perfect fifths. Its fifteenth harmonic, however, is only one-tenth of a cent sharper than in 15/8, and in my opinion this gives for very nice-sounding major seventh chords.
