AWM caption : "EGYPT. ? 1915. MEMBERS OF A BRITISH ARTILLERY UNIT WITH A 13 POUNDER 9 CWT ANTI AIRCRAFT GUN MOUNTED ON A PEERLESS MARK 3 MOTOR LORRY."


This appears to be in fact a QF 13 pounder 6 cwt anti-aircraft gun on Mk I mounting, which had an additional recuperator above to facilitate gun runout at high angles.
