Any change to add useful categories during the upload? Krd 02:05, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
I don't think there is a way to manually infer content categories without very significant effort. Maybe stuff like "1934 United States photographs", but that would be very incomplete categorisation by metadata only, unwanted.
When the files are uploaded, I will work on proper categorisazion manually based on Category:Images from USACE to check (Everyone is welcome to help obviously)
(Note that most mass uploads I've seen don't add content categories, such as this or the millions of NARA/DPLA files) ~TheImaCow (talk) 19:47, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
Please use language template for {{Information field|name=Subject|value=, credit line, collection, author, etc. EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:25, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
I think in the end, I got the language template for all relevant fields, see edits the latest ones in particular -- DaxServer (talk) 09:14, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
Seems OK for me, but please align equal signs consistently (example: File:Chief Joseph Dam sediment quality sampling and analysis plan, 2004 - USACE-p266001coll1-8912.pdf). EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:32, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for the catch. Interesting pattern 😅 -- DaxServer (talk) 16:13, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
I've set the "override wikitext" checkbox on OpenRefine schema, so the bot will update the test run files so I wouldn't have to set the random lang template in the those -- DaxServer (talk) 16:21, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
  • Are there any more issues that should be fixed? ~TheImaCow (talk) 17:42, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
