Eletric transformer

Esquema dum transformador indicando o caminho do fluxo magnético através do núcleo. O fluxo magnético é gerado no enrolamento primário e guiado pelo núcleo de alta permeabilidade até ao enrolamento secundário. Pela lei de Lenz é gerada uma força electromotriz (tensão) no enrolamento secundário que depende do fluxo e do número de espiras nesse enrolamento.
