| Description |
English: Michelson-Morley experiment with cryogenic optical resonators of a form such as was used by Müller et al. (2003). Two optical resonators are set at right angles within a helium cryostat. The resonators control the frequency of two lasers. A frequency comparator measures the beat frequency of the combined outputs of the two resonators.
Français : Expérience de Michelson-Morley avec résonateurs, telle que celle de Müller et al. (2003). Deux résonateurs optiques sont disposés à angle droit dans un cryostat à hélium. Les résonateurs contrôlent la fréquence des deux lasers. Un comparateur de fréquence mesure la fréquence de battement des sorties superposées des deux résonateurs. |
