  • all paths are pure linear borderlines (that differs from Blank map ..-named files, which use plane-element gaps as borderline)
    so this file is advantageous as an overlay over bitmaps
  • each country is one path
    • there are no seperate paths for coastlines, you can't colour them separatly
    • all paths named (id) by ISO 3166 country code and class for eu/europe (you may loose that opening with other SVG-editors)
  • all paths splines, not highly precise, some coastal details missing
    • as political borders are doubled, they look a bit more black
