This architecture image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with
{{vector version available|new image name}}.It is recommended to name the SVG file “Cheyenne Mountain nuclear bunker.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter. |
Summary
| Description | The Cheyenne Mountain nuclear bunker has main chambers (rectangular grid), a support area including 4 water reservoirs, and a north-south blast tunnel--all within the eastward spur of the Cheyenne Mountain massif. Along the blast tunnel are a turnaround area (to right) for shuttle buses, blast doors (left black interfaces to side tunnels) and other bulkheads (e.g., automatic air valves). |
