Category:SVG maps of the world centered Florence meridian
English: These maps are centered at the Florence prime meridian, which is 11°15' East of the Greenwich prime meridian, so that the lateral edges of the map split the world at the Bering strait, thus making the easternmost part of Russia appear on the right side, next to the rest of Russia, rather than to the left of Alaska. This was originally proposed by Arno Peters for his Peters projection.
