This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: Composited from two separately-focused shots using focus stacking (but it's still out of focus in bits!). Shot under natural light with some brightness and contrast adjustments, but no details have been modified (beyond any unintentional imperfections at the soft-edged join)..
