Summary

Description
English: demonstration of air craft recognition and tracking:
  • Step 1: several images (here 8) are continously taken by moving camera carrier having a CMOS based camera installed, following the aircraft a best as possible
  • Step 2: 4 images are processed by overlay technique
  • Step 3: 8 images are assembled focusing on the air craft to reduce the noise and increase the image resolution of the object.
  • Step 4: All images are joined related to the objects in the background (here clouds) to obtain a seamless image being able to meassuere the speed of the object
  • Step 5: search for symmetry is performed and comparison with known pattern is done to identify the object type and details (here weapons or not)
