Italiano: Tramandata nel tempo, la processione della Desolata appartiene alle tradizioni più suggestive e condivise dalla comunità di Canosa di Puglia. Si tratta di un vero e proprio corteo funebre del Sabato Santo, in cui circa 300 donne completamente coperte di nero, piangono la morte di Cristo.

English: Handed down over time, the procession of the Desolata belongs to the most evocative and shared traditions of the community of Canosa di Puglia in Italy. It is a real funeral procession on Holy Saturday, in which about 300 women completely covered in black, mourn the death of Christ.
