Summary
Description |
1938 tube stock train on the Bakerloo Line heading for Watford Junction calls at Harrow and Wealdstone station. Whilst I do not recall the exact date I took this photograph, I feel certain that it would have been in the 1980's, when there were just four northbound Bakerloo Line trains per day (all of them in the evening rush hour) which travelled between Harrow & Wealdstone and Watford Junction. This was photographed from the road bridge at the southern (London) end of the station; there was a gap in the wooden fence which made this view possible. Since then however the fence was rebuilt as a brick wall. Photographed by SPSmiler. |
