ظهير شريف في تمييز الراية المغربية يعلم من كتابنا هذا أسمى الله مقداره وجعل على مركز اليمن والسعادة مداره أنه نظرا لترقي شؤون مملكتنا الشريفة وانتشار ألوية مجدها وفخارها ولما اقتضته الأحوال من تخصيصها براية تميزها عن غيرها من بقية الممالك وحيث كانت راية أسلافنا المقدسين تشبه بعض الرايات وخصوصا المستعملة في الإشارات البحرية اقتضى نظرنا الشريف تمييز رايتنا السعيدة بجعل الخاتم السليماني المخمس في وسطها باللون الأخضر راجين من الله سبحانه أن يبقيها خافقة برياح السعد والإقبال في الحال والمآل آمين والسلام حرر بالرباط الفتح في 9 محرم عام 1334 الموافق 17 نوفمبر سنة 1915 قد سجل هذا الظهير الشريف بالوزارة الكبرى بتاريخ محمد بن محمد الجباص اطلع عليه وأذن بنشره الرباط في 25 نوفمبر سنة 1915 سانتولارEnglish: Praise be to God alone.
A Cherifian Dahir concerning the distinction of the Moroccan flag. Let it be known by this Our noble decree—may God exalt its value and make happiness and prosperity revolve around its center—that, in view of the advancement of the affairs of Our Cherifian Kingdom, the spread of its banners of glory and pride, and in light of the circumstances requiring that it be distinguished by a flag setting it apart from other kingdoms; and whereas the flag of Our revered ancestors resembled certain other flags, particularly those used for maritime signals, Our noble consideration has required that Our blessed flag be distinguished by placing the five-pointed Seal of Solomon at its center, in green, beseeching Almighty God to keep it ever flying with the winds of fortune and favor, in the present and in the future. Amen and peace. Issued at Rabat al-Fath on the 9th of Muharram in the year 1334, corresponding to 17 November 1915. This noble Dahir was recorded at the Grand Vizierate.
