Description |
Deutsch: Bei der Abkühlung des Mondes kristallisierte ein Teil des Magmaozeans zu relativ leichten Alumosilikaten (vor allem Feldspaten) und bildete die Mondkruste. Schwere Silikatminerale wie Olivin und Pyroxene sanken ab, um den Mondmantel zu bilden. Inkompatible Elemente, zusammengefaßt unter der Bezeichnung KREEP (Kalium, Rare Earth Elements [Seltene Erden], Phosphor u.a.), reicherten sich im Übergangsbereich zwischen Kruste und Mantel an. |
