Español: Vías de la dopamina. En el cerebro, la dopamina desempeña un papel importante en la regulación de la recompensa y el movimiento. Como parte de la vía de la recompensa, la dopamina se fabrica en cuerpos celulares nerviosos situados en el área tegmental ventral (ATV) y se libera en el núcleo accumbens y el córtex prefrontal. Sus funciones motoras están vinculadas a una vía separada, con cuerpos celulares en la substantia nigra que fabrican y liberan dopamina en el estriado. |
