English: One particular example of a radar chart, much of whose SVG code was automatically generated by a spreadsheet
  • Technical note: much of the SVG code for this chart was automatically generated by the "Radar charts" spreadsheet linked at User:RCraig09/Excel to XML for SVG. Text additions were made in a text editor.
  • Technical note: Data paths in this graphic have consecutive linear segments, in this case one segment per degree around the 360° circle. By zooming in to the "north" (12 o'clock) axis, you can see how the first segment does not start out by going straight to the right, but is skewed downward by 1° toward the second segment. Breaking up paths into fewer than 360 segments will amplify this phenomenon. Accordingly, when using (what I call) "racetrack" charts like the present chart, it may be wiser to use the SVG "arc" function which is smoother (non-segmented). (For radar charts other than "racetrack" charts, using the "Radar charts" spreadsheet can yield perfectly acceptable results.)
