Summary

Description
English: Start with an infinite oriented straight line (magenta), and an infinite oriented flat plane (cyan) that is perpendicular to the infinite line. Given an oriented surface (green) with an area of A and a surface vector of An (red), the length of the projection of the surface vector onto the straight line is equal to the area of the projection of the surface onto the flat plane.
