Deutsch: Falsche Darstellung der deutschen Umlaute durch Verwendung unterschiedlicher Codierungen. Der Text lautet: „Dies ist das ³bliche und scheu■liche Erscheinungsbild, das man õrgerlichweise des Ífteren sieht, wenn nach Austausch von Textdateien nicht die korrekte Codierung angewandt wird.“ Der Text würde richtig kodiert lauten: „Dies ist das übliche und scheußliche Erscheinungsbild, das man ärgerlichweise des Öfteren sieht, wenn nach Austausch von Textdateien nicht die korrekte Codierung angewandt wird.“
