Only users with Autopatrol rights may now overwrite files uploaded by other users. You may request autopatrol rights here. If you are currently ineligible for autopatrol rights, you may request an exception for a particular file on this page. This page is only for requests on the technical permission; proposals for file improvements should be made on the file talk page.
Make sure that your planned overwriting complies with the file overwriting guidelines.
The template that allows overwriting a file ({{Allow Overwriting}}) may be placed by any user with patrol rights.
Replace File:Example.ogg with File:ExampleImproved.ogg
Requesting replacement, as the original is extremely quiet and the uploader originally invited replacement with a higher quality version. Unfortunately the current File:Example.ogg also has a lot of noise that becomes audible when normalized. The new recording File:ExampleImproved.ogg has the exact same length and timing so all closed captions fit identically. CC0 means it can also be used under the license of the old file if necessary. - No AI/TTS/any kind of generation. This is my voice recorded via Shure SM7B → Triton FetHead → UR22C → Audacity. I updated the info. I'd suggest an overwrite based on "Feel free to replace with an improved one... :-)", see Original upload log, and to avoid having placeholder audio used that is hard to impossible to hear in loud environments/with limited ability to change the volume. I informed user Daniel Maak about the issue with the map on 15 June 2025 but it seems this user may not be very active. The map in question is anachronistic (shows contemporary borders) and wrong (modern day North Macedonia not marked as a part of Yugoslavia).--MirkoS18 (talk) 11:55, 26 July 2025 (UTC)

It currently uses the lower resolution default JPEG image from its LOC page (812x1024px) rather than the higher resolution TIFF image (3248x4096px). Since I don't think it's possible to overwrite an image with a different file format, I just want to export the TIFF as a JPG and upload that for a higher resolution image. The administration of the town of Markt Berolzheim informed me that the coat of arms currently in use contains some inaccuracies and provided me with an SVG of the official version.
