File:Simple surplus value model.svg
Summary
Pictogram showing the division of economic output into wages (or variable capital) and surplus value. This is a simple, corn-only, economy. For the full output value to be just equal to the labour, as assumed here, the land must be unimproved, `as-given-by-nature', and the instruments of production (eg., the sickles) must be of negligible value.
