Statistische Betrachtungen

Um die Zuverlässigkeit von Leiterbahnen beurteilen zu können, muß man sich statistischer Methoden bedienen. Von besonderer Bedeutung ist hierbei die Streuung der Meßwerte um die mittlere Lebensdauer. Die Verteilung der Lebensdauer erhält man aus der Wahrscheinlichkeitsdichte p(t). Das ist die Ausfallrate zum Zeitpunkt t.

Da die Leiterbahnen in der Realität wegen verschiedener Ursachen ausfallen, ist es unmöglich, p(t) durch eine einfache Funktion zu beschreiben. Selbst wenn es sich um einfache Leitungen handelt, welche darüber hinaus so hergestellt wurden, daß Frühausfälle durch Fremdeinfluß minimiert wurden, ist es schwierig p(t) durch Formeln mit wenigen Parametern anzupassen. Der Ausfall kann durch einen einzigen oder gar eine ganze Gruppe von EM Mechanismen hervorgerufen werden. Eine Gleichung wird erfolgreich für die Mehrzahl der statistischen Auswertungen angewandt. Man greift dabei auf die Lognormalverteilung zurück und geht davon aus, daß wenn der Logarithmus einer Menge der Normalverteilung gehorcht, die Menge selbst der Lognormalverteilung folgt.

In der Abbildung oben ist die Dichtefunktion für eine konstante mittlere Lebensdauer t₅₀ = 10 h bei unterschiedlichen Standardabweichungen dargestellt. Um den Anteil zu berechnen, der von der Anfangsstückzahl vor der Zeit t ausfällt, muß man folgendes Integral lösen

Die Verteilungsfunktion kann durch Variablensubstitution in das Gaußsche Fehlerintegral übergeführt werden und stellt die kumulierte Ausfallwahrscheinlichkeit dar. Für den Sonderfall der lognormalen Fehlerverteilung erhält man für die letzte Gleichung.
