Español: Escudo de la ciudad de Caracas (Venezuela) según el blasón de la Academia Nacional de la Historia de Venezuela: "tiene por armas en campo de plata un León de color pardo, puesto en pie, teniendo entre los brazos una venera de oro con la Cruz roja de Santiago, y por timbre un coronel de cinco puntas de oro".. Existen versiones de conjuntos heráldicos con ornamentos diversos y adornos exteriores, si bien, mantienen el balsón original. El león está inspirado de esta labra
