File:Xdm Screenshot.png
| Description |
Screenshot from the X Display Manager (XDM) from Xorg X11R6. It shows the typical Login-form (Xlogin) which displays the hostname from the Xorg-Server (sven) and the already entered username (again sven) with a non-blinking cursor at the end of the line. In xdm, you don't get any password-entering feedback. This Screenshot was made on a Gentoo Linux computer with the original Xorg-XDM setup. XDM was started with # xdm -server ":1 SUN-3/60CG4 local /usr/bin/Xorg -ac :1" Now the X Window dumper en:Xwd was started to make screenshots every 2 seconds: # while sleep 2; do xwd -display localhost:1 -root -out "/tmp/xdm-`date`"; echo *knips*; done The final screenshot was cropped to 800x600 because the original resolution of 1280x1024 is really too big for the small box in the middle). |
