Description
English: For this video, I decided to make stainless steel from iron ore by aluminothermy. To better separate the resulting metal from the slag, I added cryolite and calcium fluoride to the mixture. The result was a pretty good stainless steel ingot.
Eesti: Selle video jaoks otsustasin teha rauamaagist roostevaba terase alumiiniumtermia abil. Et tekkinud metall räbust paremini eraldada, lisasin segule krüoliiti ja kaltsiumfluoriidi. Tulemuseks oli päris korralik roostevabast terasest valuplokk.
Українська: Нержавіюча сталь виготовляється із залізної руди шляхом алюмотермічної реакції. Для кращого відділення отриманого металу від шлаку в суміш додавали кріоліт і фтористий кальцій. В результаті вийшов злиток з нержавіючої сталі.
