  • The subjects are grouped and tagged with their respective ISO 3166-2:RU codes, for easy creation of derivative maps.
  • The subjects are also tagged by type (i.e. republic, oblast etc.)
  • There is also a layer for the different Federal districts (seen as thicker line on map)
  • There is also a separate path for the whole country outline
  • (This map disagrees with Google Maps as of 2017-07-28)
