File:Korean vowels.svg
Summary
SVG version of Image:Korean vowels.jpg.
Letters are 6 vowels of modern Korean: letters in red colour are regular diphthongs. But there are many other diphthongs! --아흔(A-heun) 17:03, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- The above vowel chart is very lacking, and ought to be excluded from this entry. It lacks the diphthongs that 아흔 alluded to, but more importantly it excludes the vowels ㅔ and ㅐ. These vowels are monophthongs — discrete, glideless vowel phonemes. -- Prof. S. Walker
