Summary

Description
English: There was so called Arctida during last glacial maximum, when sea level was lover than today. Vast continental shelf areas north of northeast Siberia was cold loess-steppe or graminoid/forb/moss/lichen tundra above permafrost. This map is created with GRASS based on ETOPO1 data, that was sampled to 5min grid with GMT (Generic Mapping Tools) command line utilities in MINGW MSYS shell.
