File:2020年12月13日 南京大屠杀死难者国家公祭日:中俄学生齐聚抗战馆共唤和平.webm

The file is a news video created by China News Service, in which RoyZuo identified several unsourced photos from 1:22 onwards.

Assuming all photos were taken in 1945 and using COM:Russia as the main copyright law reference (in which works are copyrightable for 70 years p.m.a.), if the photos are to be within the public domain, the photographers must have died before 1955, which is not that likely.

In particular, the photo shown in 1:37 was identified to be photographed by a Olga Vsevolodovna Ignatovitsj, who died in 1984. The file therefore contains copyrighted derivative work, and should be deleted after any useful free portions were screenshotted. 廣九直通車 (talk) 09:16, 9 January 2025 (UTC)

To add on, even though Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Soviet Union has life+25, but as pointed out, at least 1 photographer lived till 1984 which means their copyright doesnt expire by the end of ussr and so should be calculated according to life+70 for russia.
also, given very limited info available, and the fact that the content of the photos contain many themes outside ussr, it cant be ruled out that some photos might have been taken by photographers from other european countries or first published in other european countries so life+25 would not be applicable. for example, photo at 2m13s is 2 soviet photographers and 5 photographers from other coutries photographed in potsdam, germany.
