Internet Archive and BEIC books

For the sake of s:it:Wikisource:Collaborazioni/BEIC, I'll upload about 1000 books which the Internet Archive scanned and then provided to BEIC for metadata augmentation. An example is File:Alberti - De re aedificatoria, 1541.djvu. They're particularly important books which BEIC selected and worked on and which we'll put in use on Wikisource (where missing) or Wikipedia/Wikiquote.

The upload is done via toollabs:ia-upload. It's best to report any suggestion or issue with the IA-Commons conversion there; I'm watching the repo and I'll try to submit patches. --Federico Leva (BEIC) (talk) 12:18, 28 February 2015 (UTC)

• This is now progressing, see Category:Scans by the Internet Archive selected by BEIC. I added some author cleansing and direct category adding per discussions at template talk:book, see .
