  •  Support Well-framed and with good lighting (darkfield microscopy tends to yield wonderful results). How big is it? JayCubby (talk) 17:19, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
The specimen is approximately 3–4 mm in length. Janeklass (talk) 07:09, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
  •  Support High-quality dark-field capture with good sharpness and strong contrast, clearly resolving anatomical details and offering high educational value. -- Radomianin (talk) 20:44, 28 January 2026 (UTC)

  •  Support Yeah, this is great, and the detailed explanation on the file page is appreciated. I'd suggest adding an explanation of the pieces of metal(?) that look like snaps. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:56, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
The objects resembling metal snaps are actually air bubbles trapped under the slide cover. Due to the darkfield lighting technique used for this photo, the bubbles refract light strongly at the edges, creating those bright, high-contrast rings that look artificial or metallic. Janeklass (talk) 07:11, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
Could you add that information to the file page? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:40, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
I have updated the file description with the explanation regarding the air bubbles. I also included the size (~4 mm), location, and focus stacking details requested by others. Janeklass (talk) 12:12, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

  •  Support Very good work, but you could also specify the size of the object, and the description does not include the note that the image was generated using focus stacking, as required by the guidelines. --Achim Lammerts • Syntaxys (talk) 07:20, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

  •  Comment I agree with Achim Lammerts • Syntaxys in that information should be given about what is being proposed. I recall the good practice of the English Wikipedia, where it is asked from the nominator the reason why it is considered the picture worth of promotion. -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 11:52, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

  •  Support I find the large representation of small things remarkable. The image is technically outstanding. It's difficult for me to judge whether the photo really has a wow effect. Sometimes this effect is created by technically outstanding photography. -- XRay 💬 09:23, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
