Entré à Versailles, 11 septembre 1833 ; "74 tableaux Rentrée de Versailles", janvier 1835 ; mentionné, sans nom d'auteur, Aile du Nord, second étage, salles des portraits, n°141-150, dans le guide de 1837 ; mentionné dans la Galerie de portraits, du côté des fenêtres (n°150), aile du nord, attiques, dans l’inventaire de 1850 ; exposé dans la Chambre du capitaine des Gardes ( salle n°29 ), appartement du capitaine des Gardes, rez-de-chaussée, corps central, juin 1964 ; exposé dans la Chambre de Marie-Antoinette ou dans la Pièce de Service de la Reine ( salle n°30 ), rez-de-chaussée, corps central, juin 1965 ; exposé dans la première antichambre du Dauphin ( salle n°33 ), appartement du Dauphin, rez-de-chaussée, corps central, 1988 ; exposé dans le Grand Cabinet du capitaine des Gardes ( salle n°28 ), appartement du capitaine des Gardes, rez-de-chaussée, cour de marbre, corps central, 13 janvier 1992 ; mentionné en réserve, 3 avril 1996 ; envoyé au musée du Louvre pour étude, 10 juin 1996 ; retour à Versailles, exposé dans le Grand Cabinet du capitaine des Gardes ( salle n°28 ), appartement du capitaine des Gardes, rez-de-chaussée, cour de marbre, corps central, 24 juin 1996 ; exposé dans l'appartement du capitaine des gardes ( salle n°3 ) [sic], 2000.
