Description

English: Proposal for the flag of Congo made by the anti-Lumumbist federalist parties in May 1960; by that point, the blue flag had already entered use. The tricolor scheme may be the source for the June 1960 flag of Katanga. See Michel Lupant, "Emblems of the State of Katanga (1960–1963)", in Proceedings of the XX International Congress of Vexillology, 2003, pp. 454–455.
